Clarity and Structure Where Work Gets Hard

I started by saying yes to something I had to learn how to build.

That mindset still defines how I work: structured learning, full commitment, practical problem-solving, and leadership through complexity.

Today, I bring 30+ years across technology, entrepreneurship, advisory work, and complex change. I currently lead consultants as Director Consulting Services at CGI, a large international consulting firm, helping organizations move forward with structure, judgment, and momentum.

Serious work. Good energy. Better decisions.

Where I Add Value

Structure for the messy middle.

Meaningful work often gets difficult somewhere between the idea and the outcome. That is where I like to help: clarifying what matters, aligning people, and keeping progress real.

Strategic Thinking

Helping clarify ambiguous situations, frame problems, compare options, and turn complexity into decisions.

Change Leadership

Helping teams and organizations move through change with structure, communication, empathy, and practical adoption thinking.

Project Discipline

Bringing planning, governance, prioritization, risk awareness, and delivery structure without turning everything into bureaucracy.

Lean Problem-Solving

Using structured analysis, process thinking, and continuous improvement to identify what matters and reduce waste.

Technology Fluency

Understanding technology enough to ask better questions, challenge assumptions, and connect business goals with delivery realities.

AI-Enabled Thinking

Using generative AI and specialized agents to learn faster, structure information, challenge assumptions, and prepare better decisions.

Proof Through Practice

Experience that had consequences.

Built And Led A Company

Founded and led a company focused on web development, web marketing, and custom development for small and medium-sized businesses. That experience taught me how to sell, deliver, hire, lead, manage clients, and make decisions where the consequences were real.

Fourteen Years Across Client Environments

Spent 14 years as an independent advisor moving from organization to organization, building trust quickly, adapting to different cultures, and helping teams create structure in complex environments.

Large And Complex Initiatives

Worked on large initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, governance, risk, delivery pressure, organizational visibility, and the need to align people around clear decisions.

How I Work

Clear thinking, real momentum, and enough humor to keep humans human.

Structured learner I like understanding the shape of a problem before pretending to solve it.
Pragmatic decision-maker I value analysis, but I also know when a team needs direction and movement.
Human communicator I try to make complex work easier to talk about, not more impressive to describe.
Comfortable with ambiguity Unclear situations do not bother me. They usually mean there is useful work to do.
Committed once it matters When I decide something is worth doing, I commit fully.

AI is not a replacement for judgment. It is a way to bring more structure, perspective, and speed to work that still depends on human experience, context, ethics, and leadership.

AI-Enabled Work

Pragmatic, not hype-driven.

Structured and faster learning I use custom agents to research topics, structure information, and prepare learning.
Better thinking I use AI to develop arguments, compare options, and challenge assumptions before decisions.
Better decisions through structure AI helps me turn ambiguity into clearer options, questions, risks, and next steps.

The Longer Version

Different chapters, same pattern.

Building before I knew enough. Training seriously. Leading people. Working through complexity. Exploring AI as a better way to learn and think. The story explains where the structure, perseverance, humor, and clear thinking come from.
